[Overview]

TUW-7100 Fluorinated Fluid is an electronic-grade hydrofluoroether (HFE) with a 61 °C boiling point. It is a clear, low-odour liquid that combines moderate solvency with excellent materials compatibility, and its 13.63 mN/m surface tension lets it penetrate micron-scale gaps to lift flux, particles and oils out of assembled hardware.
With 40 kV dielectric strength, the same fluid can also be used for direct-contact cooling of live electronics. For plants currently running 3M Novec 7100, TUW-7100 Fluorinated Fluid is designed as a drop-in replacement: boiling point, density and dielectric performance are closely matched, so existing vapour-degreaser set-points and distillation recovery equipment can usually be retained.

[Typical Applications]

1. Precision cleaning and vapour degreasing — Flux, solder-paste residue, particles and stamping oils on PCBA, connectors, relays, optical lenses and machined metal parts.
2. Semiconductor and electronics test — Thermal control for ATE handlers, probe stations and power devices, including test cells that require sub-ambient cooling.
3. Data centre and power electronics — Single-phase immersion cooling, direct-contact cooling of server boards and IGBT modules, and insulation cooling for high-voltage equipment.
4. Solvent deposition — Dilution and deposition solvent for PFPE lubricants and moisture-barrier coatings, drying without water marks.

[Handling & Compatibility]

TUW-7100 Fluorinated Fluid is compatible with aluminium, copper, copper alloys, stainless steel, titanium and nickel, and with most engineering plastics and elastomers. Before full conversion, soak-test seals, label adhesives, sight glasses and cable jackets for 24 hours at room temperature to rule out swelling or extraction.
The fluid is non-flammable with no flash point, but thermal decomposition products must not be inhaled. Keep the work area ventilated, wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses, and avoid contact with strong oxidisers and strong bases. Spent fluid should be distilled for reuse where possible and otherwise disposed of through a licensed contractor.

[Packaging & Availability]

Standard packaging is 25 kg pails and 250 kg drums, with 5 L and 20 L containers available for sampling and line top-up. Stock is held in South and East China warehouses; export shipments are declared as non-hazardous and are supplied with TDS, SDS and batch COA.
