Potassium perfluorobutanesulfonate/Potassium Nonafluoro-1-butanesulfonate (CAS 29420-49-3) – High Purity Flame Retardant & Antistatic Agent for Polycarbonate

CAS 29420-49-3
Potassium perfluorobutanesulfonate (PFBS potassium salt), also known as Potassium nonafluoro-1-butanesulfonate (CAS 29420-49-3), is a high-purity perfluorinated anionic surfactant. It is widely used as a highly effective flame retardant and antistatic agent in engineering plastics, particularly polycarbonate (PC). With its unique fluorinated structure, it provides excellent flame retardancy at very low addition levels (as low as 0.1 wt% in PC) while maintaining optical transparency of the resin. Available in 25 kg fiber drums with ≥99% purity.
