[Overview]

TUW-7500 Fluorinated Fluid is the 130 °C grade of the HFE range, with a −97 °C pour point and a service window spanning more than two hundred degrees. High boiling point, low pour point and non-flammability in a single fluid is what semiconductor tools, aerospace test benches and high-temperature reactors actually need.
In vapour-degreasing equipment the hotter vapour strips cross-linked resin, carbonised oils and high-temperature greases. In closed cooling loops the low viscosity and stable specific heat keep pump power down. Plants running 3M Novec 7500 can convert by re-checking heater duty and condenser area; piping and seals normally stay as they are.

[Typical Applications]

1. Semiconductor tool cooling — Etchers, ion implanters, CVD/PVD chambers and wafer prober thermal control.
2. High-temperature cleaning — Carbonised oils, high-temperature grease, cross-linked resin and oven fixtures, by immersion or ultrasonic cleaning.
3. Aerospace and defence testing — Thermal shock, thermal vacuum testing and recirculating cooling for airborne electronics.
4. General industrial heat transfer — Reactor jackets, mould-temperature controllers, lasers and X-ray tube cooling.

[Handling & Compatibility]

TUW-7500 Fluorinated Fluid is chemically inert and compatible with stainless steel, copper, aluminium, titanium and most seal materials; it contains no chlorine and does not corrode metals. At elevated temperature, confirm the temperature rating of gaskets, hoses and sight glasses so that elastomers are not aged beyond 130 °C.
The fluid is non-flammable with no flash point, and its low vapour pressure at ambient temperature makes flammable atmospheres unlikely. Thermal decomposition can nevertheless release hydrogen fluoride and other irritants, so heated systems need over-temperature protection and exhaust. Distil spent fluid for reuse and route the rest to a licensed fluorochemical waste contractor.
Loop design matters as much as the fluid: size the heat exchanger for 1.2× the design heat load, allow an expansion tank of at least 15% of system volume, and specify magnetically driven pumps to remove shaft-seal leak paths. Commission with a 24-hour dry run before connecting the load.
In service, TUW-7500 Fluorinated Fluid is filtered to 5 µm and monitored for moisture; closed loops typically run for years between top-ups because vapour pressure at ambient temperature is very low.
