3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid is a thermally stable, fully fluorinated heat transfer fluid with an average molecular weight of 399 and excellent chemical inertness, ideal for direct-contact thermal management across industries.

With a boiling point of 95 °C and a liquid density of 1.793 g/cm³ at 25 °C, 3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid offers an extremely wide liquid range from -127 °C to 95 °C, making it well suited for cooling ion implanters, dry etchers and CVD equipment, as well as for thermal shock test equipment.

3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid features a dielectric strength above 40 kV (0.1-inch gap), a dielectric constant of 1.9 and a volume resistivity above 3×10¹⁴ Ω·cm, providing excellent electrical insulation for direct contact with energized components, and for cooling high voltage transformers and power electronics.

As a stable, fully fluorinated liquid, 3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid resists thermal breakdown and hydrolysis, with a low kinematic viscosity of 0.79 cSt for efficient heat transfer; it supports both single-phase and two-phase cooling and is compatible with most metals, plastics and elastomers.

On safety and the environment, 3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), no flash point (non-flammable), very low toxicity and is virtually non-irritating to eyes and skin. As a perfluorocarbon (PFC), it has a high global warming potential and long atmospheric lifetime, and should be managed with proper recovery, recycling and emission reduction.

3M Fluorinert FC-770 electronic liquid is suitable for single- and two-phase direct cooling of supercomputers and sensitive military electronics, cooling of high voltage transformers and power electronics, semiconductor manufacturing equipment cooling, thermal shock testing of electronic components and dielectric baths. It is also the upgraded replacement for 3M's classic FC-77 fluid.
